Get a Handicap

USGA golf handicaps for the 2011 season are available to golfers from Salina and nearby communities through the Salina Municipal Men’s Golf Association (SMMGA). Membership in the SMMGA is $25 per year. In addition to a USGA handicap, this qualifies members to play in all SMMGA tournaments.

After paying the $25 membership fee, five 18-hole rounds should be posted to obtain a local handicap for SMMGA tournaments and Senior’s Day. For an official USGA handicap, 20 rounds must be posted. Play from courses other than Salina Municipal may be used.

A USGA handicap can be adapted to any rated course and used in tournaments anywhere.
